Ingredients

freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
240ml, approx 2 grapefruits

teaspoon
grapefruit zest
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a pot, stir, and bring nearly to the boil over a medium heat.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.
Strain over a bowl to remove the zest.
Pour the syrup into a clean glass jar or bottle. Seal it tightly and store it in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to 2-3 weeks.
