Dill is a herb that comes from the parsley family. It has long, feathery leaves and an anise-like flavor with hints of lemon. The seeds are often used in cooking but you can also use them fresh or dried.
This herb is very popular in dressings like Ranch or for pickle recipes. Dill is also great in potato salads, fish dishes, or mixed into a cream cheese spread.
If you want the flavor of dill in your favorite foods, try making this simple dried dill seasoning. All you'll need are some dried herbs that get mixed together in a pinch.
Use dill seasoning on popcorn, potato chips, pretzels, or any other snack you like. It's perfect for bringing out the flavor of dill in a subtle way that can also be customized!
Be sure to try my other spices and seasonings, including Everything Bagel Seasoning, Ranch Seasoning, Old Bay Seasoning, and Baharat, a Middle Eastern spice mix.
For sweet spice blends, I have Chai Spice, Speculoos (Biscoff spice), and Pumpkin Pie Spice.

I just made this - it is really tasty! I had been looking for a copycat recipe for Weaver's Campfire Grilling Dust and while this has parlsey (different than original) this has a very similar taste. I am looking forward to our next pork chop/steak night. I've printed the recipe and plan on making this again. Thanks!
